COMMITMENT TO SAFETY

 At Brownes we believe safety comes first. We always place our safety values before profit or productivity, and we require leaders at all levels be safety role models.

All of our employees complete a safety induction and sign a commitment to ensuring Brownes Dairy is a safe workplace.

Inside the dairy we have a maintenance team working 24/7 performing regular preventative maintenance so that our machines are safe to use and operate correctly. 

Since 2015 we have more than halved our total reportable injury frequency rate. Brownes Dairy’s Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate is 2.3, well below the dairy industry average of 8.5.

We continuously review our safety processes, and provide weekly safety tips to our staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable workplace.
