Q & A:
Why is Brownes Dairy collecting donations?
As Australia’s oldest dairy, our hearts ache at the bushfire devastation happening in our home state of WA and we want to help affected communities and families rebuild.
We have previously successfully donated significant funds to the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund which was set up to help the families affected by the Waroona, Harvey and Yarloop Fires 2016.
How long are you raising donations from the sale?
The donation period is for all scan sales from 12 Feb 2021 up to and including 25 February 2021.
Why only 10 cents, that’s not much?
10 cents might not seem like a lot but when you consider how many bottles of milk we sell it adds up to tens of thousands of dollars.
Profit margins are very slim in milk and the 10c will be donated from Brownes Dairy profits.
Is Skim 2L milk also included?
We are donating 10c from every 2L and 3L Brownes Dairy everyday milk – including Skim milk. You may notice that Skim milk 2L does not carry the donation label but we will still donate the 10c per bottle.
Where is the money donated going?
All donations raised from the sales of Brownes 2L and 3L Full Cream, HiLo and Skim milk will go to the to the Lord Mayor’s Distress Relief Fund.
