Brownes Dairy is Australia’s 8th Most Innovative Company in the Manufacturing and Consumer Goods category according to the 2019 AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies Awards.
In a competitive field of over 800 companies across Australia and New Zealand, Brownes Dairy is the only dairy company to receieve a place on the prestigious list.

They receieved the award for their innovative yoghurt range: Top Down.
While no longer on shelf, Top Down yoghurt was a revolutionary packaging format that made using yoghurt convenient and fun. Additionally, Top Down made national and international headlines when it launched. The product has since receieved several awards for the unique innovation, even after leaving supermarket shelves.
Brownes Dairy has now been named one of Australia’s Most Innovative Companies for the second time in three years. In 2017, Brownes ranked in the top 50 for its curriculum-linked School Tours program. The program sees thousands of students take an educational tour of Brownes Dairy each year.
First established in 1886, and winning two innovation awards in the last three years, at over 130 years old Brownes Dairy proves again that you’re never too old to try something new.
